Laura Armenta Dances With Wealthy Orphans

Laura Armenta is creating a special dance for the song Dangerous Places by the Wealthy Orphans which she will premier at our CD Release show at the Pyramid Scheme Saturday Afternoon November 10th.

Born and raised in Mexico City.  She performed professionally with Ballet Teatro del Espacio under acclaimed French director  Michele Descombey, and has since studied and worked alongside renowned dance  masters Anna Sokolow, Rudolf Nureyev, Diego Pinon, Jeremy Nelson and Daniel Nagrin.

Laura has tirelessly pursued independent research and study. She has chosen the path of a non-traditional dancer and instructor, incorporating knowledge from many different cultures and tribal groups form around the world.

Needless to say we are all very excited to have Laura working with us on this show.

“Far from segregating us, dance unites humankind.
