Back Home Again

We have arrived in Michigan to our new home and have most everything out of their boxes. We love our new home. I am especially excited about the large carriage house in the back yard that is like a not so small barn. I have allready begun to use it as a studio. The children are very happy to be reunited with their old friends and even a few new ones that have ben added to the pile. A house with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a yard and a carriage house feels like complete luxery after living in a two bedroom apartment with one small bathroom for all eight of us to share. Brooklyn is now so far away and yet we are all carrying it in our hearts in the form of countless memories and shared experiences. Our family has been throughly marinated in the spicy multicultural flavors of beautiful Brooklyn. We are still us but perhaps our personalities have all been turned up a fwe notches by our year of hardship mixed with wonder.
