put your hope in God for crying out loud!

I think this is just plain good advice for anyone on the planet regardless of what your situation may be.  We work really hard to be in control and create good situations for our selves but I sometimes want to take a moment an just wonder why am I working so hard?  Where am I trying to get to exactly?

I watched a new short film last night about a local minister who is in the process of getting dead through ALS.  He talked about how before his journey with the disease he tended to think of himself as in control of his life.  All that has changed for him now.  The promise God has made to never abandon us is more real to this man  than most of us.  I want to carry this with me today.
