In our town we have a Farmer's Market just down the street and around the corner. On Sunday they turn it over to the crafters and artists for what we call the Fulton Street Artisans Market. Our family goes down every Sunday morning with the Wonder Wagon filled with art work to share what we have with our local community. We stay until it closes at 3 in the afternoon and then pack up and haul our wagon home. By the time we get home we are totally whipped and ready for a Sunday afternoon nap.
We do not make a lot of money on a typical Sunday at the Artist Market but we always have some good interactions with the people we meet there as well as the other artists. It is also a good thing to have something we do as a family on a regular basis out in the community. Having a creative life of making things means that at some point you will need to share with the world what you have made. This has been a good means for us to do just that.
