These are three drawings that I created for a beautiful local library that sits along side of a small lake. In the old days there was an amusement park named Ramona on the banks of this lake which is now long gone. While I was doing research for the painting in the libraries history room I became enchanted with the story of how this park had given people a place to play and picnic. The romantic in me wishes Ramona Park could have found a way to continue to thrive through all the changes that came to this community over the years. Thank goodness for painting where you can create the world you long for and in the process re-imagine what could be.
